How is Planet Doctors financed and how is the money spent?

All volunteer health practitioners fund their own journey, accommodation and living costs. Planet Doctors mobilises resources to cover the purchase of medical equipment and supplies to be taken to developing countries and the running costs of the foundation.

As a private, non-profit institution, Planet Doctors accepts funding from a variety of sources on the understanding that the source of funding will not unduly influence either the agenda or the policy prescription of the foundation. All donations are tax deductible under Belgium law.
