Resources- The foundation mobilises the resources necessary to purchase medical equipment and supplies and to run an efficient and effective operation.
Knowledge- Through on site assessment missions the foundation undertakes in depth research into the areas to which health services are provided to ensure that optimal conditions for progress are guaranteed.
Health professionals- The foundation contacts, selects and liaises with the most suitable health professionals with the most in-demand skills.
Logistical and administration support- The foundation takes care of administrative, logistical and bureaucratic issues related to the doctors’ trip, to ensure that the doctors and the host country have no unnecessary burden and can concentrate on the health care.
- Planet Doctors is directed by a Board of expert members which meets twice annually and provides strategy and direction to the foundation. Our Board includes professional medical practitioners, specialised in different fields of surgery, gynaecology and anaesthesiology, politicians, officials from governments and international institutions, media experts and new technology experts.
